This training session is designed to provide you with step-by-step directions to approach and secure new business by learning to identify your target market, develop your expertise and confidence to create and execute successful marketing proposals, fine tuning your presentation skills. Additionally, you will navigate the world of internet marketing and social networking. Each of these skills are necessary to secure traditional clients, as well as those “outside the box” and to make you a leader in your field. Learn to earn revenue (with tools provided) that also helps build your business and reputation.

You will learn how to:

• Acquire and maintaining new and repeat business opportunities
  Create effective and informative presentations
• Maximize your internet presence through learning strategies to market and network online along as well as social networking techniques

Instructors

Lori Kennedy, B.A., R.H.N. holds a Bachelor of Applied Human Sciences from Concordia University. After graduating from CSNN, she developed a successful practice specializing in weight loss. Her biggest achievement has been the co-founding of WOW! Weight Loss Inc. a holistic weight loss and lifestyle change company featured at multiple fitness facilities and licensed by wellness professionals across Canada. She currently is passing on her business and marketing skills to fellow practitioners and teaches the business course at CSNN to help guide future practitioners.

Lorene Sauro, B.A., R.H.N. has spent 25 years as a pastry chef and 13 years as a holistic nutritionist. She has been a teacher at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition for 12 years and co-founder and co-chair for the Canadian Holistic Nutrition Conference (2008-2010). She has spent the last 10 years researching the holistic nutrition industry, working with fellow practitioners to advance the profession. She owned a bakery for 11 years and has successfully earned her living in this profession for 13 years. Her focus today is on publishing and online marketing techniques, teaching website skills for lay people and cost-saving business and internet applications for promoting practitioners businesses. She also teaches the business course at CSNN.
